The Quicken Data files on that Mac show this cloud symbol also. I have checked my 3 Apple devices (2 laptops, one iPhone 6) and all are 'current' with my new login. May be worth a try. The files for iCloud Drive are stored locally at the following local location.where newuser is your account name. Quicken for Mac 2018+ imports QFX files, QIF files and CSV Mint files (QIF and CSV Mint files are importable into a new account, but easily moved QIF format is great format supporting categories and tags. Quicken was discouraging the QIF format until 2018, but still all Windows versions import it fine.
. In Windows, click on Start.
Click on the Search box, or on the File Explorer box if you're using Windows 10. The search box will appear at the top of the pop-up. Type qw.exe. Run the search.
It may take a while for Windows to find the file, especially if you have a large and loaded hard drive. Be patient and let the search complete. Go do something else and come back if you're not the type to sit and drum your fingers.
When your Quicken install file is located, double click the file from the search results to start the installation. It's also a good idea to note where the file downloaded in case you want to change the default location for saving downloads in your browser. Click on the product you previously downloaded to download it again. When the download is complete, you'll be offered the option to install it right then and there.
Just click on 'Run,' or if you're using Google Chrome, click on the 'Download Progress' tab at the bottom left corner of the pop-up. Quicken will guide you from here, offering step-by-step instructions to install or reinstall the program. At this point, you shouldn't have to worry about locating the install file because it's already done what it was intended to do—your software is up and running.
You are missing the subtlety from the previous replies that Docker does not run natively a Mac because the macOS kernel isn’t compatible (i.e., BSD vs Linux). Docker is actually running in a virtual machine using HyperKit. The Docker vm disc image defaults to being in either: $HOME/Library/Containers/com.docker.docker/Data/com.docker.driver.amd64-linux/Docker.qcow2 or $HOME/Library/Containers/com.docker.docker/Data/com.docker.driver.amd64-linux/Docker.raw Depending on if you chose the raw filesystem or not.
So the folder location of /var/lib/docker is inside of this virtual machine and not on your macOS filesystem which is why you can’t find it with ls. You can use: docker volume ls to list the volumes in this folder, and use: docker volume prune command to remove unused container volumes. BTW, this disk image never gets smaller. So as you added images to Docker and then remove them, removing them doesn’t take up any less space although when you add the next image it will reuse that space but once allocated it never shrinks. jr Powered by, best viewed with JavaScript enabled.
